In sunny days, the abundant sunlight filters in through the light well, turning the unpredictable light and shadows into the mien of “Colorless”. By bringing surprises and changes to the space that I have built with my hands, it enriches my ordinary but not plain life.
I have abandoned building materials and designs that I often use in design projects and started everything from a white canvas and my central idea – architecture. That is, a circle is a circle and a line is a straight line. There is no fillet, chamfer or any other carved curve lines. Without deliberate design, I have simply overlapped geometries to create a sophisticated space.
The sun that slowly rises from behind the mountains. In the warm bath of the sun, I brush my teeth and clean my face with trees accompanying me side by side. Here, design is merely a supporting character that sets off the scenery.
